Taking time for yourself is necessary to maintain a healthy balance in life. Making time for your passions and doing the things that make you, you, are refreshingly healthy. Being a better, balanced you, helps you be a better spouse, parent, sibling and friend!

Easy Ways to Refresh and Relax:

  • Pray or meditate with a grateful heart.
  • Read something inspirational.
  • Revisit your favorite hobby (photography, wood carving, sewing, gardening, cooking).
  • Get some fresh air and enjoy your favorite outdoor activity.
  • Embrace the arts by seeing a show, concert, museum or historical monument.
  • Visit a spa, salon or treat yourself to an adjustment to feel revitalized!

    On a daily basis I read inspirational material, I pray daily as well. I love art & music so on a weekly basis I'm into something for pleasure. Revisiting old hobbies, I have to plan for those more so than the others. However, last weekend I went for a pedicure for the first time in years. How relaxing and I actually have no words for the feeling that was flowing through my body while also enjoying the massage chair. I normally get my nails done and just felt that for once I would go all out and include the pedicure as well. It is not something I can afford on a regular basis but I will definitely begin including it in my life sporadically. I felt so good (physically) that it made all the difference mentally and spiritually as well. Now, my next goal, regarding self care, is coming to your office. Thanks for letting me share. Everyone have a grand ole' day!!!
