Chiropractor in Asheville, Dr. Jason Martin

"After years of Dr. Martin’s mother suffering from headaches, she finally found relief with chiropractic care."
Going to the chiropractor with his mother he saw first hand the results chiropractic offered so many different people. He was intrigued with the genuine care and compassion his mother received and thus decided to begin a career in chiropractic.
After high school Dr. Martin joined the Navy. Serving five years, he decided to begin his path towards becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic. He began his pre-chiropractic education at the University of Rhode Island where he studied the basic sciences such as inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, along with basic physiology and anatomy courses.
After completing his study there, he was accepted at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. During his four years at Palmer, courses included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjustment techniques and patient care in the Palmer College Public Clinic. After graduating in 2004, he moved to Asheville to establish his practice.
Patients are First and Foremost in our Practice
Dr. Martin has worked extremely hard to develop Asheville Pain and Wellness Center. He understands that patients are first and foremost in his practice. He strives to have limited waiting time, effective treatment and tries to meet the specific needs of each and every patient.
Dr. Martin’s patients include people of all ages and activity levels. He also takes care of several local chiropractors; so we like to think of him as the chiropractor’s chiropractor. Dr. Martin employs several adjusting techniques and prides himself in paying specific attention to the needs of people who have been involved in an automobile accident.
"Daily I get to see people in my office who went to the emergency room because of a car accident; only be told that they were fine and sent home with muscle relaxers and pain pills. Educating my patients about caring for their spine following a whiplash injury brings me satisfaction knowing we helped them get out of pain and reduce their chances of degeneration or arthritis in their spine."
We think you’ll agree that Dr. Martin’s skills are outstanding and that he lives up to our motto “Chiropractic Care for Every Body!”
Outside the Office
Dr. Martin enjoys spending time with his family and friends, hiking, biking, working out at the gym and going to the movies. He has also taken up all-grain home brewing and an interest in BMW airhead motorcycles. You may also find Dr. Martin at Bent Creek running the trails with his dogs or lounging around in his West Asheville neighborhood. He includes visits to the gym at least three times per week, and running.
