Sonja Allen here, how are you? I will greet, meet, and share a smile with you and every person entering Asheville Pain & Wellness Center, while manning the front desk. Having no past interaction or real knowledge of chiropractic, I already see the difference, renewal and relief this care and these procedures provide. The clinic environment is warm and friendly with a family feel; the team interacts with every individual genuinely and professionally while maintaining a timely schedule. I am blessed by this new professional experience and look forward to the wonderful knowledge of chiropractic I will obtain from Dr. Terri and Dr. Martin. Sonja Allen joined APWC August 7, 2007 and is our newest member to the team. She is a native of Asheville and brings 20+ years of office administration to the clinic. Her business experience, jovial character and real “people person” skills will answer questions, discuss insurance, and schedule visits for our patients.
Introducing Shannon
Hello! I'm Shannon Pontious, and I am the Chiropractic Assistant here at Asheville Pain and Wellness Center. While Sonja is the first friendly face you’ll see, I will gladly guide you through our door and into the exam, adjustment and therapy rooms. Any therapeutic treatment or exercises that Dr. Martin or Dr. Terri prescribe for you, I will administer with care. Being new to this wonderful community, I have already seen the beneficial effect that these two well-educated and compassionate doctors are bringing to this part of North Carolina. It is exciting for me to see our patients improve from the services we provide each visit, and to learn more about chiropractic treatment. I have had respect for this profession since I was 9 and my father took me with him to his chiropractor, and had me adjusted along with our little beagle Maggie! It is wonderful to be part of this great team, and I am very happy to be here, helping you!
